Student Representation

Being a student at college is not just about gaining a qualification, it is also about getting involved in the life and development of the college. You can get involved in enrichment activities but you might also like to consider representing your fellow students.

Course Representatives

Course Representatives are elected by students on each course at the start of the year. If you want to represent the views of your fellow students at course meetings and course reviews this is a great opportunity. Talk to your Course Leader at the start of the year if you want to stand for election.

Student Forums

This is your chance to make a real difference. The Students’ Union organises the forums which are a great place for students to raise issues, voice their views, vote on college issues, and hear what changes the college has made as a result of their feedback.

Student Governor

The college has two Student Governors who are elected each year.  One is the College Committee Chair and the other is one of the Vice Chairs. Student Governors represent student views on the College Board of Governors. For further information about student representation speak to VP College based in the Hub or email: vpcollege@lsu.co.uk.
