Mental Health Support
If you have mental health difficulties which can include anxiety and/or depression, help is available. We can assist you to find strategies for managing student life, provide information and if needed, access to other services within the college and local mental health services.
We want to make sure that you feel confident about what you need to do at college and we will provide ongoing support to ensure that you get the most out of your time with us. You will have the opportunity to discuss any support needs within a private and confidential setting and with your permission, we will liaise with your tutors to ensure they understand your needs.
You can make an appointment to see a Mental Health Co-ordinator by emailing: learner.welfare@loucoll.ac.uk
Our Wellbeing Mentors can also offer help with anxiety, dealing with relationships by offering support and strategies.
