Welcome to Microsoft 365
As a student at Loughborough College, Your account is connected to a Microsoft 365 one giving you access to Microsoft Teams and to both the online and offline versions of apps and storage. This means you can work online using a browser or install some of the apps on your device.
What is Microsoft 365?
Microsoft 365 gives you access to your files, resources and apps everywhere, To use the online apps and services you will need an internet connection, however, if you install the apps to your device you will then be able to use them without.
With Microsoft 365, you can get:
- The latest Microsoft apps, like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, OneDrive and Outlook.
- The ability to install (some of) the apps on your devices including PCs, Macs, tablets, and phones.
- 1 TB of OneDrive cloud storage.
- Feature updates and upgrades, not available anywhere else.
To sign in to Microsoft 365 you can do this directly from your Student Dashboard or by heading to Microsoft365.com.

How do I log in?
You log in using your Loughborough College email address and password. Simply go to the Microsoft 365 website and sign in.
Can I download Microsoft 365 apps?
You can download and install Microsoft 365 apps such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Once signed into the Microsoft 365 website look for the ‘Install apps’ button.
You will require your login credentials to use any Microsft 365 software downloaded to your computer. Once you finish your course you will need to switch to your new provider OR buy the software yourself.

I'm struggling to install the Microsoft 365 apps.
Make sure you are using the correct version for your operating system. You may also need to check you have enough space on your device.

Microsoft 365 has stopped working.
You may have been signed out, make sure you have signed in using your Microsoft 365 username (college email) and password. If you have left the college you may no longer have an account and won’t be able to use the software.
