Consent

If you become pregnant whilst studying with us or your partner becomes pregnant, it is helpful for you to make the College aware so that we can discuss ways in which we can support you. This includes us helping to manage any associated risk whilst you are site.

You might be experiencing feelings of happiness and excitement, feel worried and anxious, have mixed emotions or not know how you feel about the pregnancy. This is normal. Talking to someone you trust and feel comfortable with can be beneficial.

What support is available?

The HE Welfare Team are here to support you in a non-judgemental way. They can support you to liaise with your course lead (or make them aware on your behalf if preferred) and talk to you about extenuating circumstances.

You can contact the HE Welfare Team by:

Email: he.welfare@loucoll.ac.uk

For more information about extenuating circumstances:

Registry: HE Extenuating Circumstances Form (loucoll.ac.uk)
